On January 14, 2025, the Supervised Pastoral Education programme commenced for the twelve Pastoral year seminarians at the Pacific Regional Seminary, Suva, Fiji. This programme was conducted by Fr. Augustine Kim, MSC. CPE Supervisor.
The SPE programme aimed to foster personal and professional growth, enhance ministry competence, promote self-understanding, develop effective communication and teamwork skills, integrate theological understanding with behavioural science, and raise awareness of the dignity of life in all it’s forms.
Integral to the seminarians training and preparation for pastoral formation, this programme equips students with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes for effective ministry.
Today, the twelve students who have successfully completed the SPE programme graduated with their certificates. They are now ready to embark on their new journey as they prepare for pastoral ministry in their own diocese.
Congratulations to the twelve seminarians for completing the Supervised Pastoral Education (SPE) for 2025:
