We are delighted to invite you to two exciting guest speaker events this September as part of the Bishop Vincent Presents lecture series.  

Join us in Parramatta – or online via livestream – for these thought-provoking conversations on Catholic leadership, discipleship, and bridge-building in the Church today. Drawing from perspectives in Ghana, Africa and Hong Kong, these talks will inspire and resonate with our diverse and growing Catholic community of Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, as we journey together in faith and mission. 

Bishop Vincent Presents: Dr Nora Nonterah on ‘Listening to the Wisdom of Women’ 

A conversation with Dr Nora Nonterah from Ghana – one of the leading voices in African theological ethics – exploring discipleship, leadership, and synodality through the lens of an African lay woman. The lecture will be held on Tuesday 2 September, 6pm – 8pm at St Patrick’s Cloister Hall, 1 Marist Place, Parramatta – Sydney NSW. Register here

Bishop Vincent Presents: Cardinal Stephen Chow SJ on ‘Bridge Building’ 

A conversation with Cardinal Chow SJ, Bishop of Hong Kong, one of the most senior Catholic Church leaders in Asia. This rescheduled event will be moderated by Fr Richard Leonard SJ, and will be held on Monday 15 September, 6pm – 8pm at St Patrick’s Cloister Hall, 1 Marist Place, Parramatta – Sydney NSW.
