Supervised Pastoral Education programme Fiji

On January 16, 2024, the Supervised Pastoral Education programme commenced for the six Pastoral year students at the Pacific Regional Seminary. This programme was facilitated by Fr. Augustine Kim, MSC.

The SPE programme aimed to foster personal and professional growth, enhance ministry competence, promote self-understanding, develop effective communication and teamwork skills, integrate theological understanding with behavioural science, and raise awareness of the dignity of life in all it’s forms.

Integral to the seminarians training and preparation for pastoral formation, this programme equips students with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes for effective ministry. Today, the six students who have successfully completed the SPE programme graduated with their certificates. They are now ready to embark on their new journey as they prepare for pastoral ministry in their own diocese.

Congratulations to these brothers for completing the Supervised Pastoral Education (SPE) for 2024:

Elia Poasa (SSC Fiji), Visesio Seu (Archdiocese of Samoa-Apia), Tabee Temwaua (Diocese of Tarawa & Nauru), Ioane Lam Dam (Archdiocese of Samoa-Apia), Paul Collins (Diocese of Samoa-Pago Pago), and Benjamin Tokainavatu (Archdiocese of Suva).
