This global event invites Catholic communities to celebrate the seventh anniversary of Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical on creation care, rejoicing in the progress we have made in bringing Laudato Si’ to life. The theme for the week of May 22-29 is “Listening and Journeying Together.”
Pope Francis’ message for World Peace Day, held annually on Jan. 1, focuses on dialogue, education and work as tools for building lasting peace.
