The wait is nearly over: Laudato Si’ Week 2022 is almost here! World-renowned speakers. Local leaders who have been there, done that. And the first-ever public sneak peek of The Invitation, a new film featuring Pope Francis. There is so much more happening in Laudato Si’ Week, including global events in Uganda, Italy, Ireland, Brazil, and the Philippines, along with hundreds of local events.

We are so pleased to join in celebration with you during Laudato Si’ Week 2022 from May 22 to 29. This global event invites Catholic communities to celebrate the seventh anniversary of Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical on creation care, rejoicing in the progress we have made in bringing Laudato Si’ to life. The theme for the week of May 22-29 is “Listening and Journeying Together.”
Many Congregations experience today a bottle neck situation, of drying of traditional sources and emergence of new mission territories demanding financial resources. Responses are not easily available. Another phenomenon is the fast-evolving philanthropic landscape triggered by technological advances and discerning donors. Congregational leaders and Bishops are overwhelmed by these situations and there is a genuine search for credible answers. The Project Management and Fundraising Training is one of the responses to this situation. It brings together experts from Catholic donor agencies, development consultants, practioners of religious congregations, dioceses and laity to explore together a viable solution that can be replicated across the world in Catholic development practice.
Why INTER GENTES? This renewal program has an intentional focus on self, mission and interculturality, referring to the experience of community living, life, and ministry among people from different ethnic backgrounds, nationalities, genders, and age groups, thus the name Inter Gentes. Women and men religious, and diocesan priests may consider the Inter Gentes Renewal Program as a transitional time to review and renew their commitment to the mission of God in this ever—diversifying world.
We are an international residential Centre for training in leadership and spiritual. personal and relational development of lay Christians, priests and members of religious communities. We welcome mature participants from all over the world. There are around 60-100 participants each year for the Diploma and Certificate programs. The programs are full-time and residential.
For the 2022-23 academic year thee Angelicum is inaugurating the St. Catherine of Siena Scholarship Program, which we are starting to provide financial support for religious sisters who want to study at the University. The scholarship recipients will relocate to Rome for one year to study in one of three 1-year diploma programs in Theolgy and Formation.
