Ignatian Murmuration – 3 day Online International Conference

On 12-14 May 2022, Jesuit and Ignatian Spirituality Australia is offering a transformative conference to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the conversion of St Ignatius Loyola.
This three-day conference will be an Ignatian murmuration, a series of spiritual conversations using the Spiritual Field Hospital exercises of Michael Hansen SJ during Covid, to make connections with Ignatius in his interior journey of receiving new life in Christ. Receive new life yourself. And do it in enjoyable company.

Amoris Laetitia Between New Opportunities and New Paths

The conference aims to deepen the critical issues, the provocations and the ideas of the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia of Pope Francis, to progress in theological-moral reflection, in the awareness that it continues to have a programmatic significance for the theology of marriage and family, and finally, for Christian ethics. For this reason it is necessary to start again from pastoral practice, in its ecclesial horizon, to rethink theological-moral questions, in a constructive dialogue with universal human experience, but always particular in different cultures and life histories.

Conference on Vulnerability to Abuse and the Catholic Church

Hello to all of you,   We are honoured to invite you to register for the Conference on Vulnerability to Abuse and the Catholic Church to be held May 25-28, 2022, at Saint Paul University, Ottawa, Canada. The Conference is organized in a hybrid way, i.e., face-to-face and online (zoom) in synchronous and asynchronous mode. You will find the information about the program of the conference in the attached files.   Animated by internationally renowned experts, the conference will be an opportunity to address the different aspects of vulnerability. Indeed, the conference has a dual purpose, namely to discuss and clarify the understanding of the term “vulnerable persons” in the context of abuse in the Catholic Church and in society.

Lenten Message of Pope Francis

Lent is a favourable time for personal and community renewal, as it leads us to the paschal mystery of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For our Lenten journey in 2022, we will do well to reflect on Saint Paul’s exhortation to the Galatians: “Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up. So then, while we have the opportunity (kairós), let us do good to all” (Gal 6:9-10).
